Catherine Hanna Schrock is the co-founder and director of Community Development for Blindspot Collective, “a theatre company that amplifies marginalized voices, illuminates untold stories, and energizes vulnerable communities.” Prior to starting her company, she created a Forum Theatre performance for human trafficking prevention, a girl’s arts and empowerment program in Kenya, and the “Invisible Children Teacher Exchange” show, which she directed in Uganda. Shrock also serves as a teaching artist for The Old Globe Theatre and La Jolla Playhouse and is a published poet. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Theatre from NYU and a BA in Sociology and International Development.
